Ennomotive Hackathon Industry 4.0: The Aftermath

Last weekend, the Ennomotive Hackathon Industry 4.0 brought together more than 30 engineers from different countries. The event took place from Friday 30th to Saturday 1st at IE Business School, Madrid and it was the first Hackathon ever hosted in Europe. ennomotive hackathon The official hashtag for the event on Twitter, #HackIndustry40, reached the 5th position at the Trending Topics list on Friday and the 2nd on Saturday evening. There are 4 main categories: 3D Printing, Internet of Things, Drones and Cobots . During the event, people could check out and try an outstanding drone brought by Hemav, a robotic arm from Universal Robots and three amazing 3D printers from Makerbot. Participants designed simple and creative solutions and presented them in front of a top panel of expert judges that decided which team obtained the 1st and 2nd prize, plus three more special prizes provided by Endesa and Ferrovial.
